Over Nov. 7/8 we went to Fresno for a 3D archery competition. Please to report she shot 3rd of 20 female archers.
A nice weekend with a very nice group of other archers. It is only a guess but there were at least 150 participants. The group she shot with were very considerate – but were just as competitive as she is – in other words no free points.
We stayed at a Greek Orthodox Monastery’s visitors housing. Not spartan, but not really luxurious.
On the way home we stopped for an excellent traditional Basque dinner in Bakersfield. Bakersfield is known for its Basque cooking. There are a number of restaurants to specialize in Basque food and we were not disappointed.
